  • Close liaison with the Environment Agency’s Regional Fisheries, Ecology & Recreation Advisory Committee (RFERAC)
  • Fisheries Management Strategies, Salmon Action Plans, Catchment Abstraction Management Strategies and working and liasing with the Environment Agency, Lake District National Park Authority, Natural England, Freshwater Biological Association, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Morecambe Bay Partnership etc on angling and fisheries issues and matters impacting or involving the water environment in the area, the region and often where appropriate, nationally.
  • Close liaison with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Natural England, Lake District National Park Authority, Freshwater Biological Association, Freshwater Life, the National Trust and United Utilities etc.
