2. River Lee FAP
The River Lee FAP steering group is made up of representatives from the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority (LVRPA), Thames Water Plc, RMC, British Waterways (BW), the RSPB, the Environment Agency, the Lee Anglers Consortium (LAC) and the Lee Valley Anglers Consultative Association (LVACA).
Discussions have been ongoing throughout 2003 focussing on the main issues that affect fisheries interests in the Lee catchment. In doing so a draft Lee FAP document has been written to identify these issues against achievable targets for the future. Realistic actions are needed to achieve these targets, a number being proposed in the document, and assigned to the most appropriate responsible stakeholder or stakeholder groups.

The Kennet and Pang Fisheries Action Plan
The Rivers Kennet, Pang, Lambourn, Dun and Enborne - have historically had very high reputations as quality game and coarse fisheries. Their management regimes over many decades has resulted in the Kennet & Lambourn being designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest, and the Lambourn achieving a higher level of international importance as a candidate Special Area for Conservation.
We hope, as a result of this plan, and with the collaboration of all interests, to see the rivers returned to their former glory.
